This heater has been fitted to the 940 with aircon after 1992 and to a few 960's but information on the range of Volvo heaters is difficult to find so you will need to positively identify the heater yourself. This can be done via a dealer, a forum, or by taking out your old unit for comparison. You can find fitting instructions for this heater on the Volvo forums. This research could save you over £100. This aftermarket version has a flat top tank and looks a little different to the original. This will not adversely affect the fitting. The original fitting clip is not used to hold the tank in place in the heater box but the foam supplied will hold the heater suffficiently. If you have more information please let me know.
